Compatibility
This drop-in is designed only for the AR-15 platform — it will not work in a CMMG .22 or an AR-9, as those use different levers. Mil-spec triggers are the only triggers fully confirmed for compatibility at this time; your mil-spec trigger does not require modification and will work as-is once the unit is fitted correctly. Other trigger types may work but are untested.
The system has been successfully fitted to many popular AR-15 builds, including PSA, Aero Precision, Anderson, Daniel Defense, Core15, and DPMS. While these brands have been tested and do work, we cannot guarantee fitment in every rifle platform.
These require an M16 bolt carrier groups, and an H3 non-solid buffer weight to function as intended.
Installation & Fitment Notes
On the assembled version, there are two prongs on the drop-in that push both sides of the trigger to cause it to reset. If the part won’t fully seat during installation, the smaller prong on the right is usually contacting the disconnector. Gently bend that leg outward a small amount with pliers so it clears the disconnector, and the rifle will close. This feature is intentional — the design prevents the unit from being modified or functioning like a DIAS.
Break-in & Finish
These are raw parts. Normally, cycling and dry-firing the unit 10–20 times in both modes helps wear off any rough edges, allowing the parts to better mate with your rifle’s tolerances. If you prefer not to cycle/dry-fire, the bottom of the lever may require light polishing. Each lever is tumbled in a deburring/polishing media before shipping.
Buffer Requirement
A heavier buffer weight (H2–H3) is required — do not use a solid buffer.
Safety / Use
Remember: this is an FRT. Do not hold the trigger down like a full-auto — doing so will cause premature wear and may ruin the drop-in.

Fitment & quality
The Kabuto drop in assembly works exactly as advertised!! Being it was designed for Mil spec AR triggers (FCG) , the only thing I had to do on my end was replace my polymer fcg in my Omni Hybrid with Metal Mil Spec FCG assembly, once I completed that the Kabuto dropped in perfectly!!! And it instantly run great with no hesitation when I put it into operation!!! Along with that I had just purchased a GForce Jawbone and it is designed on a AR platform and has a metal mil spec FCG so I opened it up and dropped into my Jawbone with the same ease as in my Omni!!! And I tried it also and with no hesitation it operated but with a small bit of choppiness, and it's because the factory buffer needs to be upgraded to 10oz buffer and as soon as I can locate one in stock that will make the Kabuto operational in both firearms working as it is advertised!!! And the company is very quick to answer any questions of mine and we've had many conversations about all the above!!! Damn good people and very true to their business and products designs!!!! Thank you Super Safe Solutions for all the goodness you've brought into my firearms life!! Thanks for being all FUCKING AMERICAN MADE!!!

Kabuki drop in FRT
My second time purchasing this drop in FRT and again a great product. Need one made out of metal and one made for the GFroce blade 6.

SSS FRT
I wasn't expecting the delivery to be as quick as it had arrived. Took less than a week. With the popularity of this item and price I was expecting it take much longer to arrive at my door. Outstanding guys!! It took less than 5 minutes to install on my PA-15 after watching the video on installation. It runs great and is a blast to use. I noticed during install that the entire mechanism will fit inside the Magpul grip that came installed on my PA-15, with a few little pieces of paper or foam to keep it from rattling around inside the grip.

Functional and reliable
After 600-800 rounds of 300 blk, I've had no issues. H3 buffer and relief-cut upper. A bit annoying to use with a law tactical folder, but that seems to be the case with a few super safeties. Wish it had a metal and/or ambi safety selector, then I'd give 6 stars.
