Compatibility
Designed only for AR-15 pocket-cut lowers.
Will not fit CMMG .22 or AR-9.
Confirmed with mil-spec triggers (no mods needed once fitted).
Tested successfully with PSA, Aero Precision, Anderson, Daniel Defense, Core15, DPMS — but fitment can vary.
These require an M16 bolt carrier groups, and an H3 non-solid buffer weight to function as intended.
Install Notes
If the unit won’t seat, the right-side reset prong may touch the disconnector. Gently bend outward with pliers for clearance. This design prevents DIAS-style modification.
Break-In
These are raw parts — cycle/dry-fire 10–20 times for smooth operation, or lightly polish the lever bottom if preferred.
Requirements & Use
• Use H2–H3 buffer (no solid buffers)
• Do not hold the trigger down like full-auto — can cause premature wear

Mini Kabuto
I usually get the full size kabutos from smokeypoint2a but I decided to try super safe co and get a mini and it dropped straight in and worked minor polishing for extra smoothness I will say I had zero binding when installing it the first time and when taking out i noticed the housing was cracked but I guess that is just the risk you take with printed housings ?♂️ maybe I’ll get a metal housing a test it eventually all in all still a great product aside from the housing

Mini kubuto
This was my 4th order, 3 other build it yourself kits, and now the mini. Works good on a Harrington and Richardson m16a1 after filing down activator quit a bit. Ran frt in semi at first. After a good bit of filing it down it is running great with the only add on being a h3 rifle buffer. Keep up the good work. Will continue to get my business

Mini drop in
I’ve recently purchased the mini drop in and haven’t been able to get proper functioning. The triple selector won’t go into third position when racked and won’t release trigger. Frt mode is always on and is inconsistent. Can get 1 shot then 4 and the full.

This FRT fitted perfectly within the 16 inch AR, as far as the ARP depending on which one you have you may have to get another trigger so the FRT will be able to sit flush
